Mrs. Merritt holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama and Master’s in Curriculum and Classroom Instruction from Lee University. She began teaching in 2002. She was a stay-at-home mother for many years and joined LLCA in 2023. She is married and has three children Lee ('24), Simeon ('27), and Rachel ('29). Her favorite Bible verses are Proverbs 3:5-6.
